chosen by selûne to be the bearer of a fantastic and at times burdening power, olivia spent the early years of her life restless, yearning for something she couldn't name. despite her happy and full childhood, the town she was born in was always going to be too small for her someday, and when that day came, she found herself boarding a ship that was sailing far, far away from home. she found something completely unexpected while there—a tireless, all-encompassing love of the ocean. instead of going back to land when the ship made port, she chose to stay aboard, becoming as much a part of the ship as any other members of the crew.
