hya knew the moment she met cole that he would ruin her, and she was right. he was quick to take her to his bed and then make to leave her, but she wasn't willing to let him go easily. unlike men she'd met before him, he didn't ask anything of her, and, as is often the case with such things, it only made her want him more. so, she demanded that he allow her to travel with him. though he was resistant to the idea, she charmed him into agreement.

she decided to leave him, so she could find someone, and she told him that is was because she was bored, ignoring the strange ache in her heart. she expected him to dismiss her without a care, but instead he asked her to stay. and she did, because despite herself, she loved him. from that day forward, they were never parted.
