harmony has been alone for too long to remember what it is like to have someone you can depend on. but when she met adyra, a beautiful sun elf, she wanted to, for the first time in a long time. she didn't expect to fall in love, barely knowing what love was herself, but the beautiful fey'ri enchanted her, and as she poured her trust into her she also gave her heart. but it wasn't to last, and the pair would realize they were better off as friends and part ways as a couple, though they always kept in touch.
after adyra, harmony gave up on love, for she could not imagine being lucky enough to find a second person who would love her. so she resigned herself to spending the rest of her days alone, but a chance encounter with a mercenary half-orc turned to something utterly intoxicating and nothing she could ever have imagined.
she saw the kindness in his heart and the gentleness in his soul, despite his rough exterior, and tumbled into love with him. harmony despaired of him ever feeling the same way, though. despite the heat that burned between them, she thought she might have fallen in love with someone who wasn't capable of it. and then he kissed her, and suddenly everything was different.
it wasn't long after this that harmony discovered she was carrying their child. grolux wanted to bring her somewhere safe until he had killed the man they had been hunting together, the one hunting her—but she refused to leave him. they stayed together as their hunt continued, and eventually, found their quarry, though he refused to let her get involved, and out of respect for his concern and love for her, she stayed out of the fray. when he came to find her afterward, she thought she had never seen him more handsome.
though he wasn't interested in a traditional marriage, he gave her his forever in his own way, which meant just as much to her in the end, because all she really wanted was to be with him. the ceremony was beautiful and private, and they exchanged vows and promised their hearts and everything else they were to each other. she would always consider that day the happiest day of her life, even though many, many happy days followed.
soon after grolux found harmony's hunter and their little ceremony, they began to plan their lives together in earnest, starting with their future home: one that he planned to build himself, for her and their family. these ideas developed into a dream of building an inn and tavern, one they brought into reality, and it was there that they would live and raise their children, and it brought in people from all walks of life, giving them a place to rest and make merry. but, most importantly, it gave them a place to love each other always.
