aura loved her clan, and there is nothing in the world that would have made her leave by choice. forced into an order she wanted nothing to do with, leaving behind the love of her life to an unknown fate, she grew bitter and cold. though she had once been known for her laughter and warmth, people who knew her near the very end say that she never smiled again.
the longer she travelled, the more wraithlike she became, wasting away into the nothingness she craved. aura took no joy from life, and though she did kind things for others, there was no heart behind them. she became mechanical, going through the motions of life and seemingly disappointed every morning when she woke to find herself still alive.
in the end, she did not mind having to sacrifice her life. in fact, she was glad to do it, to finally rejoin the one she had always loved. there was nothing left in her eyes when she struck the killing blow, and when she was laid to rest, those who loved her said that she finally looked at peace.
aura loved one man in her life, and when he was taken from her, most of her went with him. she would have stayed and searched for him until the end of her days, but instead she was literally dragged away from him. she closed off her heart, and it never did open again.
she had turned to stone, and it only got worse for her when she was forced to cut him down. all she wanted was to join him again, and when the chance fell into her lap, it was all she could have asked for. aura had never loved anyone else, and she never would.
