history

centuries ago, naefir's people retreated deep into the jungle, and that's where they've remained ever since. it was there that naefir was born, and why would he ever leave? his people had carved out a life for themselves, one that wasn't always easy, but was better than the alternatives. of course, all that mattered little to naefir. he loved the jungle, and the daily wonders and adventure he could find in it. he befriended all the animals he met, and desired to learn more about his home through them.

he continued to live this way, surrounded by nature and developing an ever-deeper appreciation for it, but there was a part of him that could not help but wonder what the outside world was like…though that curiosity was little more than a passing fancy. still, it was there, in the back of his mind.
